Cloud Services Engineer Tom Keane

Tom Keane, the Corporate Vice President, Engineering for Microsoft’s Azure- the company’s fast-growing cloud computing service- is responsible for delivering a cohesive and compelling user experience across all its products. Providing customers with a wide range of business offerings that can be deployed on Azure — such as cloud applications, development tools, data storage services, visualization services, and more – Tom Keane’s role also includes ensuring these solutions are intuitive but also meet stringent security standards. 

Tom Keane is responsible for leading the engineering teams that develop the services and infrastructure of Microsoft Azure. In this role, he reports directly to Satya Nadella, president of Microsoft’s server and tools business. Keane oversees Azure-based products across customer solutions and services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity management, and more.
