Interim Leadership: Michael Polk to Guide Implus Corporation
DURHAM, N.C. — Implus Corporation, a leader in athletic, fitness, and outdoor
accessories, announced the appointment of Michael Polk as Interim Chief
Executive Officer. This leadership transition comes as Seth Richards and Todd
Vore, the company’s CEO and President respectively, step down to explore new opportunities.
With extensive experience in the consumer products sector, Michael Polk is expected to drive
Implus through its next phase of growth. Prior to this appointment, Michael Polk was at the helm of Newell Brands as President and CEO from 2011 to 2019. He has
also held executive roles at Unilever and Kraft, beginning his career at Procter & Gamble.
Dave Bordeau, Chairman of the Implus Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Polk’s
capabilities. “Michael Polk brings a wealth of industry expertise and a
proven track record. We are thrilled to have him lead Implus during this pivotal time,” Bordeau stated.
In addition to his new role at Implus, Michael Polk serves on the Boards of Directors for
Colgate-Palmolive and Logitech International. His academic background includes
an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
