André Des Rochers life journey, shaped by his time in the French Foreign Legion and the military, has led to an innovative and successful career as an investor. The legal professional André Des Rochers was born on January 10, 1962 in Montreal, Canada. He is the oldest son of a French Canadian father and a Belgian mother. At the age of three, he moved with his family to the Congo. Six years later they returned to France.

In addition, the successful legal professional settled briefly in the Burgundy region before moving to the Brittany region. André Des Rochers is fluently bilingual in French and English and has an excellent knowledge of Spanish. He is an admirer of the vitality of Latin America and its culture. Des Rochers was a graduate from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. 

The entertainmetn lawyer spent four years in the French Foreign Legion stationed in French Guiana, Madagascar, and Niger. In 1983 he successfully enlisted in the Canadian Forces and was later transferred to Germany as a linguist-translator (Deadline). 

He left the military in 1987 as a corporal after which he worked for an international firm specializing in financial analysis. He moved to Mexico in 1989 to work with a French business group based there, and in 1991 he transferred to Argentina as André Des Rochers explains. He worked for several years for an investment fund managing finances for two of the largest banks in France. His work with Banque Paribas took him around the globe, including a role as the president of Banco Francés del Río de la Plata – Buenos Aires (later absorbed by BBVA).
