Trading Expert Ross Cameron

Ross Cameron has been a long-standing member of the Microsoft team and a significant contributor to our partner ecosystem. So we know he’ll be able to bring an energetic and innovative approach to building new programs and services, nurturing new partner relationships, and ensuring all partners have access to resources they need.

Ross has been with Microsoft for over 14 years, working on the global partner program team and helping partners to grow and thrive. He has worked within Microsoft’s Global Partner Program in several product groups, including Office (MS Office), SQL Server, and Windows. Ross Cameron is the one in charge of the delivery and development at all their projects.

Before joining Microsoft, Ross was a vice president at EDS, responsible for leading sales organizations in Latin America and Europe. In this role, he developed a global strategy for selling software through new channels and market segments. Ross Cameron was instrumental in identifying new focus points, including Internet service providers (ISPs) along with hardware resellers, system integrators (SIs), value-added resellers (VARs), and strategic partners. 

 

Ross Cameron’s experience in strategic partnering, selling, and helping partners succeed is invaluable to our program so he will be a great fit at Microsoft. In business development, he drove revenue growth while implementing and expanding a product portfolio strategy. He has also established new sales offices in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. 

Before EDS, Ross had a wide variety of experience in the distribution sector, including service provider sales for IBM and IBM Credit Corporation. In addition, Ross Cameron was responsible for managing internal account teams that sold to IBM’s largest partners. His broad experience base gives him insight into business development at multiple levels.
