Health Carousel Has Pledged $200,000 over Three Years to Support Nursing Education.

The organization also has a dedicated workforce solutions team. It works with hospitals, physician practices, and other healthcare facilities to help them provide the best possible care for their patients by matching their needs with the most qualified professionals.

Health Carousel’s “Light the Way” initiative will provide nurse education scholarships for qualified nurses from the Philippines, the U.S., and other countries to be trained as nurse educators by some of the leading schools in the U.S.

Health Carousel will provide a financial stipend for each recipient who completes the program to cover expenses associated with studying abroad, including tuition, housing, books, and living expenses for up to two years of study. Each recipient will also receive a laptop computer on arrival at school.

Nurse educators at universities across the country will be eligible for grants from Health Carousel. The company is committed to providing up to $10,000 per program annually for three years. Programs include but are not limited to:

• Continuing Education – Sponsorship of continuing education courses and conferences related to clinical practice or nurse education;
• Curriculum Development – Funding for students and faculty members who develop curricula related to clinical practice or nurse education;
• Faculty Development – Funding for faculty members who attend conferences, take courses or pursue other activities that support their ability as educators.
