Doe Deere Reached For The Stars And Watched Lime Crime Sky-Rocket

It might sound cliche, but Doe Deere really believes in holding on to your dreams and making them happen. The Russian-born businesswoman founded Lime Crime in 2008, in an effort to offer women a broader base of makeup choices. She was all about the vivid brightness of cosmetics, and she filled an alternative niche which women globally have come to admire.

The CEO of Lime Crime sat down with GuestofaGuest.com top talk about the beauty industry and how she dared to challenge the cosmetics status quo. For decades, women were told what makeup to wear for which event and the proper ways to wear cosmetics.

Doe Deere later moved to New York City and developed her business savvy and gusto for life. She dabbled in music, singing in a band and met her husband, also a songwriter. Somehow, she fell into the world of makeup, hoping to create a line that moved away from the boring beige cosmetics setting trends. She wasn’t sure many women would be on board, but Doe Deere was in for a huge surprise.

Today, Lime Crime has soared to the top of e-commerce beauty sites and social media. Women and men, too, are obsessed with the crazy a** makeup palettes Lime Crime offers, and her Instagram page proves that. At the moment, her site boasts more than 2.7 million followers.

Doe Deere believes that hair, fashion and makeup are the trilogy that belongs together. Lime Crime isn’t the makeup you’d expect; it’s edgy, modern and in-your-face. Imagine green, yellow or blue lipsticks and pretty iridescent sparkles. It’s party fantasy, part naughty and part self-defining.

That’s the point Doe Deere is trying to make. She believes women and men should empower themselves and put on cosmetics that set them apart from the masses. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and Doe Deere gives them the colors and tools to achieve one’s personal best.

Doe Deere and Lime Crime have become so popular, that she’s being cited for entrepreneurial prowess. Self-Made magazine recently featured Doe Deere on the cover with fellow business greats Suze Oman and Arianna Huffington. All three were named to the publication’s list of the Top Inspiring Female Entrepreneurs.

Selling makeup online is not an easy feat, especially when you cannot see the shades and products in person or touch them and try on samples. Doe Deere has made it happen.

Hollywood Celebrities Attend the L.A. Kabbalah Centre and Bring Stability to Thier Lifestles

In the past century, Kabbalah is becoming known throughout the world through the L.A. Kabbalah Centre. The study of this ancient wisdom is taught in classes both in the Centre and online, and anyone who’s interested is welcome to participate. It was only in 1922 that Rav Ashtag opened the first Kabbalah Centre in Israel.

Up until then, Kabbalah was only studied by the elders and priests in the Jewish Faith. Kabbalah is thousands of years old, originating in the time of Moses. Its principles are to study the purpose of life and the universe and then apply them to your life. Kabbalahists believe that there is joy in every person.

So, Kabbalah is not a religion, and many celebrities have found studying the principles of Kabbalah very beneficial in stabilizing their lives. More recent stars like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears attend the L.A. Centre, as well as celebrities from the last generation such as Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, and Sammy Davis.

Sandra Bernhard expressed in an interview that when she routinely attended the L.A Kabbalah Centre, the chaos in her life was reduced by 80 percent.

Paris Hilton also commented that when she broke up with her fiance Nick Carter, studying Kabbalah helped her to cope with life as well as changed your perspective. Kabbalah is defined as an “ancient wisdom that provides practical tools for creating joy and lasting fulfillment,” and many famous people go regularly to attain this goal. They also see it as a great understanding of their lives.

As of 2016, there are Kabbalah Centres in over 40 cities around the globe, but L.A. Centre is the largest and the center. Announcements about events are announced from L.A., which allow members to join in conferences and other meetings.

Madonna is a loyal follower of Kabbalah, and she has supported the construction of several Kabbalah Centres. One of the main principles of Kabbalah is the concept of giving, and the members participate in volunteering in the communities around them to learn this principle. The principles provide the tools for learning how to aply the wisdom to your life.

Squaw Valley Statement

On November 30th of last year, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows’s Public Relations Director Liesl Kenney released a statement in response to concerns from guests about the water quality at the upper mountain water quality.

He took the time to both explain what happened to cause the contamination – a mild contamination due to upgrading the water systems over the summer in response to havoc-wreaking rainstorms that struck all over Placer County – as well as what has been done to combat the contamination.

This includes working with Placer Country Environmental Health, Squaw Valley Public Service District, and various other experts in the field of water safety. Working together, they’ve already seen huge improvements to the water quality, as well as a massive reduction in the contamination.

Kenney stresses that their customers, their guests, are of the utmost importance to Squaw Valley and that they have taken all measures to ensure that they continue to have use of the facilities while maintaining their safety.

“At no point was the contaminated water available to the public,” Kenney said. “We will not return to our regular water usage at High Camp or Gold Coast until we are fully assured by health officials and other experts that the water is safe… While this issue is being resolved, our guests at High Camp and Gold Coast will have normal and full access to our facilities, including free bottled water for drinking.”

He stated that Squaw Valley will keep all of their guests updated about what the experts have to say, as well as when they’re given the go-ahead to drink the water again.
